March Showers bring April Flowers!

Wait, that's not how the saying goes?  Huh.  Well, the tulips are up anyways!  TerraDactyl and I went to a Tulip farm with my first college roommate.  We were there for three hours and it went great!  TerraDactyl was a champ.  She walked almost the whole time.  And she required very little correction (where to walk, how to treat flowers, etc).

In fact, I think we ended up enjoying the tulips more for bringing a toddler along.  TerraDactyl forced us to walk more slowly and really take things in.

Plus, all the quirky photo props that were set out were so much more enjoyable with a toddler.

TerraDactyl LOVED the tractor.  LOVED it.  She probably would have sat on that thing for an hour if I had let her.  But, other people needed to take pictures on a tractor.

TerraDactyl was less excited about the selfies though...

Oh yeah, TerraDactyl was also totally excited to pick up trash there as well.  She was less excited about the fact that we had to walk so far to get to a trash can, but she was willing to let me carry the trash for her.  ;)

It's not as obvious in this picture, but TerraDactyl is definitely trying to climb out of my hold and do her own exploring...

I even managed to convince TerraDactyl to wear a brimmed hat!  Once it warmed up and the sun came out, TerraDactyl didn't want to wear her beanie anymore, but I was worried she might get sunburn on her head (her hair is so fine!).  After we took pictures in the wooden shoe, we left so other people could take pictures, but TerraDactyl ran back to it and climbed in by herself.  She does love shoes!

After wandering around for a few hours, TerraDactyl was starving!  She ate an entire peanut butter sandwich (with TWO pieces of bread) and half the pulled pork off my sandwich!  I tried distracting her with goldfish and peanut butter puffs, but she just wanted to eat my food.  I can't really blame her, the pulled pork was great!

We had a lot of fun.  We'll probably have to make this a yearly adventure.  If only so TerraDactyl can sit on a tractor!
