Teething Again
I'm pretty sure TerraDactyl is teething again. She's super drooly and constantly chewing on her pointer finger and thumb (one on each side of her mouth). She won't chew on her teething ring though (whether it's chilled or not). And while she loves carrying around her teething necklaces, she's not chewing on them either. So one of these days I'm expecting to see some new teeth.
Speaking of drool... TerraDactyl wanted to hold DH's hand so bad. She'd been reaching for it quite aggressively while DH was dodging her because her hand was just drenched in drool. So he grabbed a towel and wiped her hand off so that he could hold it. While he turned around to get rid of the towel, TerraDactyl immediately stuck her hand in her mouth to chew on her fingers. DH turns back around to grab her hand and gets a soaking wet hand. I just about died laughing watching that exchange. It was like watching the Three Stooges or something.
Yesterday I was trying to eat my breakfast as quickly as possible because TerraDactyl was not showing much interest in hers. I was so happy to see that her small Cheerio pile had dwindled. I hadn't heard them hitting the floor, so surely that means she's eating them, right? Nope. She's just getting really good at hiding them. And YES, this is a leak proof sippy cup, so there IS a silicone gasket in the top.
I finally finished the next section in TerraDactyl's growth chart! The Fox took a while, mostly because we got pretty busy. Next up, the Deer! I've got 5 out of 9 sections done, so I'm over half way there!
I love the picture of your daughter playing with the train . . . and my son eating it. (He likes to choo-choo his food thoroughly.
ReplyDeleteChoo-ing food thoroughly is an important life skill. Maybe you're about to see some teeth, too!
