Oma and Opa came for a visit. They helped keep an eye on TerraDactyl so I could tackle some more projects while DH was at work. We put a door sweep on the back door so we don't have a huge gap that allows cold air into the house and we got a ton of yard work done.

In the grass with Opa |
Now that TerraDactyl is standing more, she should probably be wearing shoes (at least occasionally). So if you look closely at the picture above, you can see her cute little shoes. My sister gave me some adorable moccasins and TerraDactyl has also got some hand me downs from other little girls.

Check out my rad shoes! |
The shoes are especially helpful in the grass. TerraDactyl is not a fan of standing or crawling in grass, but when she's wearing shoes, she OK since she can't feel the grass.

Did you see the buttons on this shirt?? There's THREE of them! |
Another thing I
finally got to do was organize our attic! Oma and Opa kept TerraDactyl entertained for the TWO HOURS it took me to get everything dealt with. I had a bunch of stuff to take up there, but I also needed to organize the baby clothes bins. I had four bins of clothes that were not really organized. They were kind of organized since they were grouped by hand-me-down arrival date, but there was still quite a bit of variety in each bin. I got them all sorted out and organized so I could bring the latest size down to add to TerraDactyl's closet.

Hold me Oma! |
While I was sorting out the clothes, I also got all the baby shoes sorted out. TerraDactyl now has so many options as far as shoes go. And they're all pretty gosh darn cute.

Look at all the shoes!! |
Something odd that started happening in the last few days is TerraDactyl's approach to eating. She's been rejecting foods that need spoons and only eating finger foods for a while now. I've been trying to stretch the definition of finger food beyond just "cereal". So I've been trying to get TerraDactyl to eat peaches. And I think the sliminess of the peaches has encouraged her to try and pick her food up with her mouth, instead of her fingers. She just bends over and tries to suck the food straight into her mouth - even her cereal! It's weird. But funny. She's also been experimenting with foot placement while eating. I figured we'd have to deal with "elbows off the table", but I never figured we'd have to deal with "feet off the table"...

Yeah, I'm pretty comfortable. I think I'll stay like this. |
We also had a pretty wild weather swing over the course of a few days. Sunny, warm, and beautiful "no jacket necessary" weather to... snowing! It alternated snowing and raining all day - in 10 minute increments. It was really weird.
