First Week Back at Work

TerraDactyl and I survived DH's first week back at work!  We did pretty well, I think.  It wasn't too traumatic.  Not very  productive, but not traumatic either.  :D

Still going strong!

It's funny, Friday I was feeling so proud of how productive the day had been.  I started making a list of everything I'd accomplished:
  1. Gave TerraDactyl a bath
  2. Applied the moisturizer to TerraDactyl
  3. Dressed TerraDactyl
  4. I showered (and brushed my teeth)
  5. Did 3 loads of laundry
So.  Basically I accomplished basic grooming and did 3 loads of laundry.  But I felt like I'd done SO much!  I'd been hard at work all day long!  But objectively, I really hadn't accomplished much at all.  I usually enjoy doing laundry because I feel like I can accomplish twice as much.  There's so much hands off time I can multi-task and do something else while the load is going.  But now, TerraDactyl is the other half of the multitasking.  sigh.

TerraDactyl has continued to wear her SwaddleUp to bed and I still love it!  Easy diaper changes and she seems to sleep easy in it.  I like it so much that I had to order a second one so she had something to wear if the first was dirty.  Because let's be honest.  She's a dirty baby.  ;)  Well, maybe messy is a better word.  I pretty much do a load of laundry every day because something vital ends up with one bodily fluid or another.

I often end up adding our clothes to TerraDacyl's laundry to fill a load up.  I can't wait until I use up the last of the adult laundry detergent so I can get it out of the house.  Right now I've got three different detergents:  adult, baby, and cloth diapers.  Kind of silly.  I didn't really think things through beforehand.  Eventually, we'll be down to just using the cloth diaper detergent (no scents & no softeners), but it'll take a while.  Darn my penchant for buying in bulk!

Riley is no longer the messiest family member!
